Walk the 30K (18.6 miles) as a solo walk or relay style with a team of 2 – 6 members. This course follows the beautiful bike paths of Alton Baker Park! With access to both indoor and outdoor tracks, focus on improving racewalking performance and racewalk technique. Train with our Guest Coach Philip Dunn, three time 50K Olympian. Do you like to be in the country, experiencing the beauty of Oregon's Willamette Valley or the scenery of the Eastern Oregon forests? Or, do you simply like to manage part of an event or share your enthusiasm? Whatever your motivation, we are looking for responsible volunteers to help at WOW events:
There are many ways you can help: course monitoring, start line, finish line, traffic controllers, walk directions, etc. Get your friends, your kids (18 years and older), your neighbors, work buddies, cheerleading squads, track clubs, any clubs or other affiliations you are involved with and help make these "walk only" event a success.
