I co-lead the Intel Motorcycle Club (IMC) partnership with the WOW organization. I've been with Intel since 1983 as a Global Human Resources Project Manager. I've also been an active participant in Intel's volunteer program for many years.
I started riding motorcycles as a very young child, while growing up in the deserts of Arizona and living next door to the owner of a Honda Motorcycle store. I started racing motorcross at 10 years old and racing cars and motorcycles on the drag strip and road courses at 16.
Being the son of an entrepreneurial auto mechanic, I have an unfathomable appreciation for all things with a fuel tank. To satisfy this appreciation, I run my own small business, Northwest Manuals, which buys and sells cars and motorcycles and supplies original owner's manuals for all types of vehicles.
Several years ago, I formed the New Mexico IMC chapter and functioned as the chapters' leader. After relocating to Oregon in 2004, I joined the Oregon IMC chapter. My wife, Kathy, is also an Intel employee, a licensed motorcycle rider, an IMC member, and an active walker.
About the Intel Motorcycle Club: The IMC is comprised of Intel employees who ride motorcycles and get together for various events, activities, organized and spontaneous rides. When possible, the IMC aligns their riding events to support worthy causes. In 2005 the IMC partnered with WOW to provide the WVR event with motorcycle safety support. This was the first time the WOW group utilized motorcycles in this capacity. The enjoyment and success of that partnership has lead to a commitment by the IMC to provide enhanced support of the WVR 2006 event.
