Letter from Judy

Hi Friends. Welcome new subscribers!

This is one of my favorite times of the year for walking. We are on the cusp of the reemergence of nature around us - spring is just around the corner. As our temperatures warm, birds return, and daylight hours increase, a perfect time to review how you are doing with your New Year resolutions. WOW Events, the Walk Club and activities are a great way to stay motivated, challenge yourself and meet new people.  All by doing something healthy for you...walking.

WVR CAPTAIN'S CORNER
Welcome New and Hello Veteran Captains!

Being a Captain for a WVR team is quite a responsibility.  We’ve created this section

just for you – the Captain.  If you have any questions about being a captain, write us and we’ll try to help you out. At this time, you should be working on the following:

  • Get commitments and funds from your team members.
  • Get your registration forms in to the office and take advantage of the special offers before it's too late!
  • Encourage your members to start their walk training. Don't let our rainy weather deter them - building the foundation is key at this point. If you or your team needs motivation, check out the WOW Walk Club and Events section on the  right column!

Buddy Walks 

Buddy and his "dog mom" Susan

are slower walkers, averaging

about 17 minute miles.  Buddy walks are a great way to ease into a training program. Join Buddy and Susan on Thursday evening group walks at Fit Right NW. For more info, email judy@erofit.com.
