Letter from Judy

Dear Friends,

What is a New Year’s resolution but a desire attached to an attempt to improve? As the calendar page turns, this is a good month to chart your course for the year. What do you want to accomplish? Having fun is an important component of any successful undertaking. What better way to create an incentive for walking in 2007 than exploring Wonders of Walking events with old friends and family as well as making new friends.

As we look forward to a healthy, safe and fun 2007, I think it important we reflect on a few highlights of 2006:  We successfully launched the WOW Walk Club hosted by REI, currently at 74 members; and a 5K, 10K, Half Marathon Training program sponsored by Fit Right Northwest, which we will be expanding on in 2007.

What is changing for 2007?

The Pumpkin Caper is growing!  This year we will add a 10K route and a Kid's Caper to our usual Halloween Fun. The Willamette Valley Relay course is getting a makeover as well as adding two new events.
We will be posting updates on these and many other changes to the website, visit us often for more information at www.wondersofwalking.com.

We look forward to all that 2007 brings. Thank you for your support and interest in building the WOW community and programs.

Judy
