2012 is upon us. As the calendar page turns, this is a good time to remember: you cannot control the passage of time; but, you can control how you will pass through time.
One of my lessons this past year was truly realizing we never know what we can do at any age unless we give it a go.
Have you become aware of a desire attached to an attempt to improve aspects of your life? Be realistic, take time to prepare setting yourself up for success; take small steps towards the larger goal, be consistent and have fun!
Having fun is an important component of any successful undertaking. We, at WOW, do have fun with all of the trainings, programs and events. As we look forward to a healthy, safe and fun 2012, I think it important we reflect on a few highlights 2011: The WOW Walk Club hosted by REI Portland continues to grow and does represent WOWs mission which includes Building Community.
